Following protests throughout the country after a recent grand jury decisions in New York City and Ferguson, Mo., students from Main Line colleges held a “die in” Monday at Lancaster and Elliot avenues in Lower Merion.
“This demonstration pushes the Main Line to recognize, and feel these injustices and the outrage that has followed,” reads a message posted to the All Black Lives Matter: Die-in, March and Vigil Facebook event page. “The organizers, students at Bryn Mawr College, extend the invitation to the entire Lower Merion community, and beyond.”
